Corrections & Verification Log
A record of what was checked—and where verification remains incomplete.
Initial publication review · October 20, 2026
The initial review checked selected primary records against the overview, research and policy summaries, and technology labels. It did not independently reproduce experiments, inspect aircraft installations, or provide scientific, medical, engineering, or legal peer review.
| Area | Review outcome | Limit / next check |
|---|---|---|
| FAA overview and research chronology | Source compared with published summaries. | Agency summaries are attributed; underlying experiments were not reproduced. |
| National Academies study | Project scope and in-progress status checked earlier in this edition. | Later access was rate-limited. Recheck for a final report. |
| 2026 bills | Introduced text versions checked. | Congress.gov action histories unavailable; later status remains unverified. |
| Deployment claims | Initial entries distinguish tests from airline-service use. | No exhaustive equipment or fleet survey completed. |
| Historical source collection | Retained with dates and context. | Not every historical source was freshly revalidated in this review. |
| Book and media | Cover displayed and 67-second video loaded in page preview during setup. | No purchase transaction tested. |
| Website | Production build checks completed for publication. | A build check is not factual peer review or proof that every external link works. |
Material corrections
No material factual correction has been entered in this log at launch. This statement begins the log; it does not certify that the site is error-free.
Future entries will show the correction date, affected page and statement, corrected wording, supporting record, and reason. Substantive changes will not be hidden behind a silently refreshed date.
Scheduled maintenance
Monday editorial checks prepare bulletin drafts and flag stale claims. A broader audit is included in the first Monday check of January, April, July, and October. A scheduled review counts as completed only when its actual results are recorded; a date is not advanced merely because a task was scheduled.
